are you taking photographs at wedding?
No! Photography is for me a hobby and I guess that it’s important for this kind of event to call a professional. Your wedding is supposed to be one of the most beautiful day in your life - so take care of your photographer to immortalize this day and, please, don’t try to make it low cost…
Here are a few reasons why it is so important to contact a professional:
- It is his business. When he accepts the job, he also blocks some time to prepare the wedding with you and for the post-treatment as soon as possible. In my case for instance, my job doesn’t allow me to even have a look to pictures during 1 or 2 weeks;
- He has usually a spare-camera in case of;
- You pay him, he has so more than a moral obligation to provide you with the best – you can also put him in trial if any with no comment as “he’s not a king but for the price you paid J
- He’s usually making training to be at top. He will propose you a trendy manner to realise your wedding’s reportage
I need to be clear, I know that there is a lot of « amateur » who are doing a beautiful work and I know a lot of them making better job than professional well established. But I’m sure that, if you’re doing a good casting, a professional will provide you a better service than an amateur…
I understand this could be a lot of money but regarding the time spent before, during and after the wedding and considering the material, the trainings and their experience on this kind of matter, the price is rarely over-estimated.
Make saving on cake, 90% of the guests are drunks at this moment of the evening and will not be able to really appreciate the work of your pastry chef. And there is usually too much :)
