cookies - connection indicators
What is a cookie, and what is it used for?
A cookie is a text file that may be stored, subject to your choices, in a dedicated space on the hard disk of your terminal (computer, tablet, etc.) when you consult an online service using your browser software.
It is transmitted by a website server to your browser. Each cookie is assigned an anonymous identifier. The cookie file enables its issuer to identify the terminal in which it is stored for the duration of the validity or storage period of the cookie concerned. A cookie cannot be traced back to an individual.
No cookie is added knowingly by the smilecollector.photos site. The purpose of these cookies is not to direct your visit, to offer you advertising (there is none, by the way) or to know everything about you. Their only purpose is to make your visit easier.
The regulations allow me not to ask for your consent for these non-invasive cookies.
What types of cookies are placed on this site?
Only technical cookies, which are necessary for browsing our site and accessing the various products and services.
Technical cookies are used in particular to recognise you, to indicate that you have visited a particular page and thus to improve your browsing experience: to adapt the presentation of the site to your terminal's display preferences (language used, display resolution), to memorise passwords (where applicable) and other information relating to a form you have completed on the site (registration or access to the "member" area).
Technical cookies are also used to implement security measures (this is the case, for example, when you are asked to connect to the members' area again after a certain period of time). These cookies cannot be deactivated or configured, otherwise you will no longer be able to access the site and/or its services.
Domain cookies in this category:
- nrid (used by engagebox) is used to remember the user's choice regarding cookies on the website. Where users have previously indicated a preference, this will be stored in this cookie;
- fc_uid (used by FLEXIcontent) is a hash of the session ID (contains no other data); is added to the search/filter URLs of registered users and makes the URLs unique so that the browser can be prompted to open the cache page without reloading the server when the BACK / FORWARD buttons are clicked.
