Bias is an arbitrary choice that does not depend on any impartial observation. So what does this have to do with my photos of shows or competitions?
I make the arbitrary choice not to correct the heat of the photos I take of them, so the photos will probably seem too yellow to you...
Some lighting designers also choose to illuminate paintings in red (sometimes even without front light) and our electronic sensors don't like that.
So why not correct the settings on my camera? So as not to waste time and maximise the chance of each participant being represented...
Why not correct the settings in post-processing? Because that might take a bit too much time...
So it's a double choice that I accept. Others make a different one - that's the very definition of bias.
